FEPHM, MEPHM and AEPHM holders are highly placed in Government Ministries, Parastatals, Institutions, Agencies and Industries. Members of the Institute are top Environmental Managers in companies and Public Health Managers in public and private hospitals/Health Centres. They are Managing Directors/Chief Executive Officers, General Managers, Senior Managers and managers in corporate organizations, Medical Officers of Health, Chief Environmental Health Officers, Supervisor for Environment and Supervisor for Health of Local Government Councils; Chief Medical Directors, Directors General of Medical Centres and Research Institutions, Directors of Forestry, Wildlife Conservation, Drainage/Flood Management Services, Erosion/Ecological Management Services, Pollution Management, Waste Management, Sanitation Services, etc. in Ministries, Parastatals, and Agencies.
The Institute assists members seeking employment to secure gainful employment through its Welfare and Membership Support Committee. They are admitted to pursue Post-Graduate and Masters Degree such as Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD); M.Sc. Environmental Management and Master of Public Health (MPH).

Registration
- Persons willing to register as students of the Institute must purchase the prescribed form from the Institute or other registered centres.
- The registration form must be properly completed with the applicant giving satisfactory evidence as to correctness of his or her name, age, residential address and other particulars filled in the form.
- The photocopies of Birth Certificate / Declaration of age.
- The photocopies of educational certificate(s) and passport photograph of the applicant which must be certified by a member of the Institute.
- Applicants must pay the required registration fees in force as at the date of application and comply with all registration requirements as may be laid down from time to time by the Institute.
The Council reserves the right to approve or refuse any application for registration or terminate the registration of a student. The registration fee paid by an applicant is not refundable. Applicants must complete and return their Studentship Registration and Examination Forms together with appropriate fee(s) to the Institute.
NOTE: Registration as a student does NOT confer Professionalism/ Membership of the Institute and students should NOT use any initials after their names denoting that they are Registered Students of the Institute. Candidates are advised to submit their entry forms well in advance of the closing date and to ensure that it is acknowledged by the Institute. No allowance shall be made for any special circumstance, any error or omission by the candidate.
